Evaluation of Intertrochanteric Femur Fractures Treated with Trochanteric Fixation Nails in the Elderly

This episode assess the working outcome of intertrochanteric fractures femur governed by trochanteric fixation fasten (TFN) in the elderly population. Intertrochanteric fractures are usually encountered apiece orthopaedic surgeons especially in the elderly culture with osteoporotic cartilages.A retrospective study was carried out accompanying 40 patients (30 men and 10 females) of intertrochanteric fracture leg part that were managed accompanying TFN from September 2018 to May 2019 at Yashoda Superspeciality Hospital, Nehrunagar, Ghaziabad. The sample size was captured as per the availability of the patients and in accordance with the operating surgeon’s choice.The mean age of patients was 64 age.
