Odisha’s Balasore: According to DRDO sources, India successfully tested the Agni Prime medium-range ballistic missile today from the coast of Odisha. This missile was built in India.
Around 9:45 am, they reported, a mobile launcher on the APJ Abdul Kalam Island fired a test missile.
During the test, the solid-fueled canisterized missile complied with every mission requirement, according to sources, Press Trust of India reported.
According to the officials, radars and telemetry equipment set up at various sites tracked and monitored the ship’s entire navigation.
According to them, the missile’s attack range is between 1,000 km and 2,000 kilometres.
The missile’s most recent test, which was also successful, was carried out on December 18 of last year from the same site.
