It is well known that the majority of fluids used in chemical and allied processing applications do not comply with the law of classic Newton and are thus known as non-Newtonian fluids. The heat and mass transfer of a laminar boundary layer flow of a non- Newtonian power law fluid past a porous flat plate is studied numerically in this paper. The solution takes into account the effects of suction/injection, power law index, Soret and Dufour. Partial differential of the governing boundary layer Via a transformation of similarity, equations along with boundary conditions are first cast into a dimensionless form and the resulting ordinary differential equations are then solved numerically using an implicit finite difference scheme. The effect on non-dimensional velocity, temperature and temperature of the parameters of Soret and Dufour, suction/injection, power law index, Prandtl number and Lewis number The areas of concentration are graphically discussed. The difference in heat and mass transfer rates of the Power law index, Soret and Dufour numbers is presented in tabular form. Various parameters, such as Suction/Injection, Magnetic number, Prandtl number, Lewis number, Powerlaw index, Soret and Dufour number, are found to be regulated by the solutions.
