Describing a Possible Way to Realize Controlled Nuclear Fusion at Low Temperatures

This paper provides a new way for controlled nuclear fusion to be realised. The way is that a single energy neutron beam, such as lithium nuclei or boron nuclei, fuses with given nuclei so that the nuclear energy is emitted. Since a neutron has no charge and has a broad reaction cross section with a nucleus, the type of fusion can be accomplished at low temperatures. The fusion is easy to control and does not create spent nuclear radioactive material. The electron neutron source, in which a single energy electron beam collides with a single energy bare nucleus beam, such as the deuteron, to create a single energy neutron, is one of five kinds of neutron sources. Target nuclei are irradiated by these neutrons and absorbed by the target nuclei so that nuclear energy is released. It has the downside of releasing less energy and energy density compared with traditional fusion. Furthermore, generating a beam of single-energy neutrons requires a certain amount of energy. However, the fusion process must produce more energy than the input energy if any of the input energy can be efficiently recycled. There is a discussion of the fusion of protons or deuterons with certain light nuclei. The type of fusion is easily understood. This process of fusion can be conducted at low temperatures (at room temperature in principle), since a neutron has no charge and has a very large nuclei cross-section. The fusion is easy to control and does not create spent nuclear radioactive material.
